CLINTON — Members of the class of 2018 are leaving Clinton High School with more than $6 million in scholarships to colleges and universities across the country.

There are five National Merit finalists in this year’s graduating class and six STAR Students (with ACT scores of either 35 or 36).

“Our graduating seniors have earned honors in a wide array of academic, athletic and arts competitions,” said Dr. Tim Martin, superintendent of schools. “It’s amazing to me to look over this list and see how well our students have represented us this year and throughout their high school careers.”

More than 300 seniors will graduate at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 25 at the A.E. Wood Coliseum on the Mississippi College campus. Valedictorian and salutatorian will be announced during the ceremony.
