For those looking to make an immediate difference in the world, you’ll have the opportunity Tuesday, Dec. 19 during the Clinton Arrow Blood Drive.

The Blood Drive will take place during finals week, and since Tuesday is an “Open Campus” day, the blood drive will start at 10 AM and will last until 3 PM.

“Any student who does not have a semester exam on 2B is allowed to sign up for that time,” Mr. Chapman, one of the event’s sponsors said. “No students will be excused out of their 2nd Block exam. Testing week is the priority, but if a student is available to give blood, that will work.”

CHS hosted a blood drive last year and had over 30 donors. This year, Clinton is looking to at least double that.

“We will have a table in the commons where students can get a permission form and can sign up for a time,” Mr. Chapman said. “All students donating must have a completed permission form signed by a parent or guardian and must be 16 years old or older.”

The entire process will take roughly one hour, and every donor will receive a MBS T-Shirt. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.

All students 16 and older are encouraged to come and join the 6.8 million Americans already donating blood.

An hour of your time could save three lives!
