Nowadays in school, WiFi is pretty much a necessity.

If you are looking for a place to chill, grab a bite to eat and get some homework done, there are a number of places around Clinton you can visit.

At Taco Bell, Sonic, Applebees and Zaxby’s, you can just walk in, grab a bite to eat and connect to the WiFi—no password needed.

Clinton’s Chick-Fil-A also has free WiFi, but due to the scheduled renovations, all services will be put on hold until the renovations are complete.

Fox’s Pizza also has free WiFi, but worker Rebecca said there is a stipulation. “We have free WiFi, but customers must come up to the counter and ask for the password.”

Froghead Grill also has free WiFi for its customers, and just like Fox’s Pizza, customers need to ask the front counter for the password.

If you’re looking for somewhere to work with a large group and want some coffee to go with it, Starbucks and Cups both have free WiFi.

In order to connect to the WiFi at Starbucks, all you have to do is walk in and connect.

At Cups, the WiFi is free, but you have to enter a password on Cups WiFi network, which is available on a framed card by the front counter.

Some other places where you might go just to do some studying alone or in a larger group are the Quisenberry Library and Meme’s Brickstreet Bakery.

At the Quisenberry Library, you can just walk in and connect to the ‘jhlguest’ WiFi.

Meme’s Brickstreet Bakery offers students a unique weekly setting to get some group work accomplished. “Every Thursday night, we have an after-hours study night and we are open until 10 PM,” Meme’s Manager Allyssa McGuire said. “The password to our WiFi network is just memesbakery.”

So, if your WiFi at home isn’t working or you just want to get out of the house to get some work done, there are plenty of places around Clinton where you can go to get free WiFi and work, and with Nine-Weeks Tests coming up, students can take full advantage of these options.
